Ten thousand of earthly wings could never carry me home through the multitudes of tempest storms.
 

I do not sway my feet from solid ground, but to only bow my knee to my King and LORD and you hide me under your eternal wings. I am at peace as you shield the wrath of harmful darts and arrows ablaze. Safely beside your side and covered with your warm delight, I can see the break of morning light from under your wing. How wonderful it is to know how much you are in love with me, a child, a son who is coming home nestled beneath your mighty wing. An Almighty GOD who has delivered me from the fear of death’s sting and has covered me with the oil of joy. I am heading home under eagle’s wings to stand before the King of kings, rewards to receive for a blood bought life and crowns to cast for what I did for You. I am coming home; I am coming home to an eternal throne under eagle’s wings.
